In Kindness Club We:
- Strive for our school to be a caring and friendly place where everyone is accepted and can be themselves.
- Encourage and support each other and help those in need.
- Strive to spread a positive message to promote kindness and respect for our entire school community.
Any student is welcome to join! Meetings are held during mentoring. Be sure to listen to the morning announcements for upcoming meeting dates.
National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at PPMS is committed to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, citizenship and helps our middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders within our school, community, and beyond. This includes Plum Point Middle's annual Zombie Run, Relay for Life, Toys for Tots, Pep Rally and numerous other community-led service donation projects throughout the year.

Student government helps develop public speaking and leadership skills which will help your student throughout life. Students get to practice these leadership skills at county and statewide general assemblies and conferences. SGA also plans and executes many schoolwide events.

Past and current PPMS SGA leaders have served on the Calvert Association of Student Councils, Maryland Association of Student Councils, and Calvert County Board of Education! PPMS SGA helps develop our future leaders!
We are very happy to announce the schedule for SGA meetings for the 2023-2024 school year. We will begin meeting on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 7:00 a.m. in Mrs. Kelly’s room, room 316.
We hope to see many returning students and students new to SGA at this meeting. Feel free to attend and learn more about the Student Government Association at Plum Point Middle School. We always welcome enthusiastic student leaders! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Kelly.
